PehraTek is the culmination of many years of Pediatric Audiological testing, a passion for discovering more accurate means of assessing hearing in those who are unable to communicate or be instructed, and a desire to create products that will make more accurate pediatric audiological assessment available to every Pediatric Audiologist.
Developed by Audiologist James L. Pehringer, Au.D., Pehrateks’s innovative devices help to accurately detect hearing deficiencies in those who are too young to communicate. Dr. Pehringer is president and owner of Hearing Solutions Group in Hopkins, Minnesota. He has been an Audiologist for over 29 years and his education includes an AuD Doctoral Degree from A.T. Still University and an MA from Colorado State University.
He has developed some unique ways to diagnose and identify hearing and communications problems such as the Needs Assessment Profile (NAP), an evaluation tool that helps find the real causes of hearing loss to develop a pathway to success. He believes that through proper assessment, your patients can receive the help they need to improve their quality of life.
